Chengdu City is a representative region of urban-rural integration

and is adopted as the research region of this paper. Based on a survey of parents’ demand of early education for young kids aged 0 to 3 years old in the research region

this paper finds out the following problems

including parents’ lack of understanding of early education

necessity to improve the quality of early educational course content

a low degree of professionalization of early educational services

lack of diverse early educational service forms

etc. Concerning these problems

this paper puts forward suggestions

including updating the early educational content

enriching the early educational service forms

strengthening talent development for early education

etc.
