Evidence-based practice is the priority of development in the field of social work practice in the west and currently it covers almost all related aspects. Examples of evidence are manifested on the micro
meso and macro levels. After sorting out the devel- opment of evidence-based practice in the west and comparing it with its domestic coun- terpart
this paper finds that the latter still remains to be improved in terms of scientific evidence
high-level evidence
standardized scales
and groups of people and field expan- sion. Besides
this paper proposes that the evidence-based social work practice entails sci- ence-oriented
specialized and ethics-driven development.

Why carrying out practical research of social work, , 2015(02).search. As a practical discipline, research in social work is not conducted for theo-ry, but to serve practice. However, it cannot be limited to serving practice only.Rather, it needs to combine practice and research into a scientific and professionaldiscipline, providing better specialized services to clients.Third, it should be ethical. Ethical value is the core issue of social work profes-sion. Social workers often need to provide services for individuals with manyneeds, deal with the relationship among family members, and provide services forpeople from the bottom of the society. When providing services, social workers arerequired to abide by work ethics. At present, when social workers in China provideservice programs, the subjective way to determine the means of intervention stillprevail without scientific basis. EBP requires social workers to consider the situa-tion and values of the client when determining the intervention scheme so as to pro-vide more effective interventions. The means of interventions is determined basedon a search for effective methods in the past and service quality of social work hasincreased. A proven and effective method is used to intervene in order to take re-sponsibility for the service object. Therefore, providing strong evidence in socialwork and underlining the value and interests of the client will make sure that inter-ventions are as beneficial as possible to the service object and able to reflect theethical value of social work.Evidence-based Practice of Social WorkGuo Weihe.
