Abstract
With the expansion of private colleges and universities and the reform of newcourses on English teaching
the independent learning ability of college students has been paid more and more attention in English teaching. The survey results show that learners’ learning motivation
learning attitude and learning psychology have a great impact on their autonomous learning ability. Therefore
it is very important to overcome these emotional factors. Meanwhile
teachers should also use positive emotional factors to infect students
clarify their motivation for autonomous learning
correct learning attitude
and overcome psychological burden.
