摘要

Abstract

Green building materials are a key pathway for driving the low-carbon transition of the construction industry. This paper selects four representative green building materials—recycled aggregate concrete

expanded perlite mortar

green high-performance concrete

and reconstituted materials—and conducts a systematic comparison across three dimensions: technical pathways

engineering applications

and barriers to adoption. The study indicates that these four materials represent four distinct green pathways: resource utilization of waste

diffusion through construction adaptability

carbon reduction through mix design optimization

and high-performance substitution

respectively

with varying levels of technical maturity and barriers to adoption. Among them

expanded perlite mortar currently holds the greatest potential for widespread adoption

while green high-performance concrete offers the broadest technological prospects. For green building materials to evolve from merely "usable" to "easy to use

" the key lies in the systematic improvement of the standards system

cost control

and supply chain coordination.
