Abstract

In feedforward active noise control (ANC) systems

fixed step-size algorithms often struggle to achieve both rapid convergence and low steady-state error. To address this limitation

this study proposes a simplified feedforward ANC algorithm based on an adaptive step-size strategy

derived from the combined characteristics of logarithmic and modified Sigmoid functions. Simulation experiments using white noise as the input source demonstrate that the proposed algorithm not only accelerates convergence but also significantly reduces steady-state error

confirming its feasibility and practical potential.
