摘要

Abstract

Investor sentiment directly affects stock prices and yields

and is an important basis for investors to make investment decisions. Examine indicators of market sentiment among investors

primarily categorized as direct and indirect measures. Direct indicators are gathered directly from investor opinions

and the sentiment metrics developed based on these direct inputs reflect the collective mindset of investors toward the financial market—such as optimism or pessimism regarding future performance. Indirect indicators express investor sentiment in the form of proxy variables by calculating relevant data. This study examines the influence of investor sentiment on equity returns in the domestic market

thereby offering a theoretical foundation for both investment decision-making and regulatory oversight.
