Targeting three major structural industrial pain points of Zhejiang local Baijiu(Chinese grain liquor)

namely raw-grain external procurement

customer-group discontinuity

and underdeveloped distribution channels

this project takes the provincial-level intangible cultural heritage of Tongshan-Shao(a regional baijiu of Tongshan

Zhejiang) brewing craftsmanship as its core

and builds a whole-industry-chain common-prosperity closed-loop model featuring "contract-guaranteed-price sorghum cultivation (primary industry)

Zhejiang-Brew Cloud-Brain intelligent brewing (secondary industry)

and Direct-to-Consumer (DTC)-based wine–tourism integration (tertiary industry)". Founded by an interdisciplinary team of young university students

the project has conducted five-month-long field investigations across Zhejiang Province. Relying on over 2

000 mu(approx. 133 hectares; 1 mu≈ 666.7 m²) of standardized sorghum bases

it secures local raw-material supply and raises farmers' incomes. A self-developed IoT-based intelligent brewing system optimizes production techniques

lifting liquor yield and high-grade-product ratio while cutting comprehensive costs. It develops a product matrix of 12–28-degree low-alcohol Zhejiang-style clear-brewed liquor

develops national-trend cultural-and-creative products as well as an immersive study-tour IP (intellectual property)

and constructs DTC direct-sales channels via brand-owned community channels and short-video new-media platforms to bypass barriers of traditional distribution. Project implementation delivers multiple practical outcomes including income growth for farmers

living inheritance of intangible cultural heritage

and expansion of youth consumer markets. It simultaneously provides diversified value-added services such as intelligent-brewing technology

corporate customization

and cultural research-and-study programs

delivering economic

cultural

ecological and social benefits. Financial calculations reveal a short payback period and sound profitability. This research establishes a replicable and scalable model that integrates youth engagement in rural areas

intangible-heritage revitalization and rural industrial revitalization

offering a feasible pathway for digital and youth-oriented transformation of regional traditional brewing industries.
