摘要

Abstract

The Internet meme “Nv Quan” ( 女拳 )

successor of “Rural Feminism”

has become widely used on social media in China in recent years

spurring discussions on gender issues and fueling the backlash against feminism. This paper aims to explore how “Nv Quan” stigmatizes feminism in Chinese context using existentialist and post-structural feminist theories

elucidating the cause of the stigma and evaluating potential solutions to it.
