In an era defined by globalization and deepening regional economic integration

vocational education cooperation between Guangdong and ASEAN stands out as a cornerstone for driving cohesive regional development. Capitalizing on its geographic strengths and industrial prowess

Guangdong has laid the groundwork for vocational training partnerships with ASEAN nations; however

it still grapples with fragmented policies

shallow engagement

limited resource‑haring channels

cultural gaps

and tepid corporate participation. This study delves into the collaboration's context

current dynamics

strategic significance

critical enablers

and actionable pathways

proposing a comprehensive cooperation framework anchored in policy harmonization

joint resource creation

and industry alignment. By advancing policy synergy and institutional innovation

optimizing educational resource sharing and talent‑development models

forging robust enterprise‑industry linkages

and embedding cultural integration and cross‑cultural education practices

Guangdong and ASEAN can transcend existing hurdles and elevate their vocational education alliance to new heights—offering a replicable

practice‑driven blueprint for both regional economic integration and the stewardship of global vocational education.
