Abstract

As a landmark fragment of the transition from Classicism to Romanticism

the core of the musical expressiveness in the first movement of Beethoven's "Les Adieux" Sonata stems from its unique rhythmic patterns and rich sound colors. Based on score text analysis

combined with perspectives from musical aesthetics and performance practice

this paper systematically decomposes the core rhythmic elements and sound color carriers of the first movement

exploring how they collaboratively construct the natural imagery of "dawn breaking" and the spiritual narrative.
