摘要

Abstract

Animal idioms are diverse

have rich positive and negative significance

and at the same time

they have good language expression effects

so one of the important components of language learning is English and Chinese animal idioms. Knowing the positive or negative meaning of animal idioms is necessary for a correct understanding of the relevant sentences. This article selects Chinese and English animal idioms from the corpus for comparative analysis

introduces a cross-cultural communication perspective

explores the possible difficulties and challenges in the use and understanding of animal idioms in cross-cultural communication

and provides some suggestions and strategies to help people better understand and use animal idioms in cross-cultural communication.
