At the practical level
this paper takes the opportunity to study the measures to cope with carbon tariffs to provide a solution to the trade and environmental disputes that may arise from the imposition of carbon tariffs on China's exports; to provide ideas for China to formulate laws and regulations on carbon emissions and carbon trading; and to provide advice for China to strive for the right to speak in the global climate negotiations
to further expand China's economic space for development
and to accelerate China's transition to a low-carbon economic development model. We will provide advice and suggestions. At the theoretical level
this paper will focus on comparing and analysing the legitimacy and reasonableness of the carbon tariff legislation system proposed by the European Union and the United States
with a view to finding out the subjective intention of the carbon tariff legislation of the European Union and the United States
so as to make up for the lack of research on carbon tariff theories in this regard.
