Mu shang Shang combines traditional Chinese musical culture with modern compositional techniques. Inspired by the term Mushang and literary works such as Li Sao and Zhuzhi Ci (Bamboo Branch Lyrics)

the piece conveys the history of ancient Chu and the enduring spirit of Jing-Chu culture through the harmonious interplay of instruments from the Eight Sounds tradition.Importantly
