Abstract

In the long history of Chinese literature development

due to the influence of feminist movements in some western countries

some literary works with more distinctive feminist characteristics have appeared in China. Feminist consciousness can be found in most of the classic literary works in China. The feminist characteristics expressed in the literary works of different periods are different

but on the whole

the feminist consciousness expressed in feminist literary works in China is continuously developing and progressing. This essay analyzes feminism and the specific manifestation of feminism in modern Chinese literature.
