Under the dual context of cultural confidence and digital humanities

the ethno-cultural self-representation in urban sculptures of Southern Guangdong is confronting a fundamental paradigm shift—from material entities to digital codes. This study proposes the "ethnic-genetic code" as the central unit of analysis

deconstructing it into a tri-level signification system comprising "symbol

craftsmanship

and spirit

" and further establishing a systematic research framework of "identification

deconstruction

recombination

and generation." The research demonstrates that digital technology enables data-driven deconstruction of traditional codes through high-precision scanning and semantic analysis. Subsequently

innovative code recombination is accomplished through three pathways: parametric algorithms

cross-media narrative

and public participation. Ultimately

under a dynamic balance mechanism of "technology-driven impetus

cultural constraints

and public-oriented guidance

" contemporary art forms with Lingnan characteristics are catalyzed. The study reveals that digital humanities constitutes not merely an instrumental overlay

but a profound practice of cultural recoding. It offers a theoretical reference for the digital creative transformation of regional culture

while providing a public-art-based practical pathway for constructing digital cultural identity in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
