failing to meet audience expectations.This paper

grounded in the perspective of broadcasting and presenting

focuses on interview scenarios to examine the transformative logic of shifting questioning from 'unidirectional inquiry' to 'two-way empathy' and listening from 'passive waiting' to 'active engagement'. It explores their reciprocal relationship: listening anchors questioning to its core purpose whilst preventing deviation

and questioning deepens listening by uncovering underlying information. It provides theoretical reference and practical insights for optimising interview communication strategies and enhancing dialogue quality for presenters.
