摘要

Abstract

Confucian culture has been the dominant ideological system in China for thousands of years

and its core concepts have deeply integrated into education in the Chinese mainland. This research project explores how the Confucian tradition has continuously shaped the values

institutional design

and teaching practices of contemporary Chinese education. The study shows that Confucian concepts such as respecting teachers

emphasizing moral education

stressing diligent study and examination selection

are still clearly visible in educational goals

teacher-student relationships

curriculum design

and the highly pressured exam-oriented education model. Although modern educational reforms have introduced Western educational ideas

the deep influence of Confucian culture presents a complex picture of "path dependence" and dynamic adaptation. Understanding this influence is of crucial significance for grasping the essence of Chinese education and promoting its future development.
