摘要

当下，人类的光晕正被各样模拟物所颠覆。OpenAI的语言生成程序GPT-3证实了解释算法生成的文本所面临的挑战。本文提倡的解释性策略，承认语言的深刻差异（就GPT-3而言），这一差异来自于一个仅有语言模型而无世界模型的程序。有意识的机器人一旦出现，它们将拥有与人类截然不同的具身化形式。因此，想象有意识的机器人的小说也面临着GPT-3文本提出的类似挑战：它们是会掩盖这些差异，还是会制定策略来阐明这些差异，并探讨它们对沉浸在算法文化中的人类的影响呢？作者分析了三部应对这一挑战的当代小说：安娜莉·内维茨的《自主》、石黑一雄的《克拉拉与太阳》以及伊恩·麦克尤恩的《像我这样的机器》。每部作品都探讨了人类的光晕如何被有意识的机器人所颠覆。文章在最后提出了被重构后的人类光晕应如何构成。
