摘要

Abstract

This research examines the effects the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-driven Non-Player Characters (NPCs) in enhancing the players' experience and enjoyment when playing video games. Traditional NPCs are restricted by their scripted behaviors and usually do not provide fluid and real-life interactions

which can negatively impact the gaming experience overall. When artificial intelligence improves

NPCs become more adaptive and realistic

which could alter the level of satisfaction and engagement for players. This study used a double-blind experimental design to compare a traditional text game and an artificial intelligence-enhanced question and answer game. The results of the study show that gamers are significantly more inclined to play AI-enhanced games. They believe the games have more depth and challenge. This study highlights the revolutionary impact of artificial intelligence on gaming

highlighting the necessity to continuously innovate and feedback-driven improvement to unlock the full power of artificial intelligence for enhancing the gaming experience.
