摘要

Abstract

The field of cognitive neuroscience has seen a relative dearth of study in recent years concerning the topic of time perception

which has significant importance. The majority of existing models about time perception primarily focus on the examination of temporal intervals. However

it is important to acknowledge that these models cannot be entirely dissociated from the neurological element of event sequencing. Furthermore

it is worth noting that there is currently no evidence supporting the presence of receptors directly linked to time inside organisms. Currently

the utilization of time perception as a methodology and independent variable is prevalent across many study domains. However

a comprehensive theoretical framework that can adequately elucidate this phenomenon remains elusive. The objective of this paper is to critically examine different theoretical frameworks about the perception of time and to provide novel perspectives and avenues for further investigation in the field of time perception.
