摘要

Abstract

Distributed measurement and control systems require events observed at different sites to share a common time axis. This paper presents a device-independent method for using Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) as an external reference for distributed synchronization. GNSS time messages provide the UTC second label

a one-pulse-per-second (1PPS) output establishes the physical epoch

and a hardware-captured local counter supplies fractional-second timing. The framework defines acquisition

lock

holdover

and reacquisition states; separates timestamping from data transport; and retains time-quality information. It also explains integration with PTP and NTP

delay calibration

uncertainty evaluation

validation

and responses to interference

spoofing

and source failure. No simulated or experimental performance values are reported. The contribution is a reproducible implementation and verification procedure for power

industrial

and geographically distributed sensing applications.
