摘要

Abstract

The antiferromagnetic material PrVSb

single crystal was successfully synthesized via the flux method to investigate its electrical transport and magnetic properties. Structural characterization through X-ray diffraction (XRD) and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) confirmed the high-quality single-crystalline nature and stoichiometric composition. Electrical transport measurements revealed a distinct antiferromagnetic phase transition at the Néel temperature

=7 K

accompanied by a significant anisotropic negative magnetoresistance (reaching -32% at 6 K). Magnetic measurements using a Physical Property Measurement System (PPMS) demonstrated complex low-temperature magnetic ordering behavior

including two-step magnetization plateaus under perpendicular magnetic fields (

⊥c) and linear magnetization under parallel fields (

∥c)

indicating strong magnetic anisotropy. The interplay between spin-density-wave transitions and anisotropic scattering mechanisms was proposed to explain the observed negative magnetoresistance. These findings highlight PrVSb

as a promising candidate for exploring spin-related quantum phenomena and applications in spintronic devices.
