摘要

Abstract

The grey system theory and its classical GM(1

1) model have been widely applied

yet often suffer from low accuracy due to poor data smoothness and improper background value construction. To address these issues

this paper proposes a Quantum Whale Optimization Algorithm (QWOA) to optimize the improved GM(1

1) model

establishing the QWOA-EFGM(1

1) framework. The model employs an exponential function to enhance data smoothness (EFGM(1

1))

and incorporates quantum encoding and rotation gates into the whale algorithm to optimize background weights. Validation through a case study on elbow pipe wall thickness prediction demonstrates that the proposed model outperforms traditional GM(1

1) and EFGM(1

1) models in effectiveness

accuracy

and stability.
