摘要

Abstract

There exist three major models for the integration of ecological civilization and regional economic development: the first model prioritizes economic development over ecological environmental protection

which is commonly observed in developed countries during the early stages of economic growth; the second model emphasizes environmental protection over economic development. The third model focuses on the coordinated development of economy and ecological environment

aiming to achieve optimal resource allocation. As a developing country

China is not suitable for adopting the first and second models

but rather needs to promote the coordinated development of economy and ecology based on its own national conditions

in order to achieve the integration of multiple benefits. This paper employs the SWOT analysis method to analyze the current status of POLEEZ construction

discusses the successful experiences and shortcomings of ecological civilization and regional economy in POLEEZ

and proposes a path for the coordinated development of ecological civilization and regional economy.
