With the deepening of social ageing

the quality of life of the elderly is receiving increasing attention. As a major component of urban greenery

urban parks provide an important leisure and social place for the elderly. The aim of this thesis is to improve the living experience of the elderly in parks by conducting a preliminary discussion on the ageing-friendly design of modern urban park landscape facilities. Through the refinement of the principles of ageing-friendly design

analysis of the needs of the elderly

case studies and field surveys

this study proposes a series of guiding principles and methods for ageing-friendly design

and verifies the effectiveness of their implementation through practice. Through this study

we expect to provide useful references for the design and planning of urban parks to better meet the diverse needs of the elderly and to promote the construction of age-friendly environments in cities.
