The cultural and creative design-based cultural heritage revivification model for the South China Historical Trail revolves around the mode of survival

mode of production and mode of life of people. By identifying the characteristics of cultural heritages along the trail and the needs of economic development

this model tries to provide a feasible promotion mechanism and a sustainable development strategy for cultural heritages and resources to serve social space and coordinate with the economic development of neighboring areas from the perspective of value co-creation

and puts forward two creative models for “cultural and creative design” to drive the revivification of the cultural heritages of the South China Historical Trail: “ancient trail+characteristic agriculture”and“ancient trail+leisure and tourism” .
