摘要

Abstract

This study draws on data from the China Family Panel Studies (CFPS) to quantitatively examine the impact of distance education on employment structure. A binary logistic regression model is employed to categorize occupations into high-end (e.g.

managerial and professional technical positions) and medium-to-low-end types in order to analyze how participation in distance education influences individuals' occupational choices. The findings indicate that participation in distance education significantly increases the likelihood of entering high-end occupations

with heterogeneous effects across age groups. Robustness tests

including redefining the classification of high-end occupations

further validate the conclusions. This study provides empirical evidence for understanding the relationship between distance education and employment structure optimization

offering policy implications for improving employment quality.
