摘要

Abstract

This essay would discuss the application of Collins learner Dictionary and Oxford Advanced Learners' Dictionary for EFL teaching. There will be 5 parts consisting in the following. The first part is relevant research and concepts which are needed to explore.The target learners this essay would mainly discuss are at upper-level. They are aiming at find the meaning of unknown word's meeting in reading and acquire the related collocations for using in future study. For upper-level students

the focus of using dictionaries is not only for improving receptive skills but also productive skills.
