Against the backdrop of deepening economic globalization and the booming development of Dalian Jinshitan National Tourist Resort

English public signs have become a pivotal carrier for international communication and urban image-building. As a renowned scenic spot in the resort

Dalian Jinshitan Hunting Club was found to have conspicuous problems in its English sign system through on-site investigations

including inadequate coverage

prevalent spelling and grammatical errors

extensive Chinglish expressions

and non-standard linguistic usage. These issues have severely hindered effective information transmission to foreign visitors and undermined the international image of both the scenic spot and Dalian city. To address these pressing problems

this study conducts an in-depth analysis of the error types and formative causes of the club's English signs

and proposes targeted translation strategies from the perspectives of mastering English grammar and linguistic characteristics

avoiding Chinglish

and elevating translators' professional competence. On this basis

the research team has provided innovative consulting services for the project's English sign system and formulated a multi-media promotion plan for standardized English signs. This research not only offers practical solutions for the optimization of English signs at Dalian Jinshitan Hunting Club but also provides a valuable reference for the standardized construction of English public signs in northern China's tourist scenic spot.
