摘要

Abstract

Shakespeare

in the Sonnets

speaks brilliantly the love and praise for the two friends; Huang Bikang

in his Full Translation of Shakespeare’s Sonnets Imitating the Song Ci

shows the characteristics of Chinese poetry. From the perspective of ekphrasis

the words and sentences of female description in the Sonnets reproduces Shakespeare’s thoughts and emotions

while Huang’s corresponding translation effectively reproduces the verbal representation of visual representation between pictures

characters and cultures. This makes the source text and the translation achieve equivalence in function

which shows the impact and integration of the two languages and cultures.
