摘要

Abstract

In the context of globalization

multicultural children face various challenges in cultural and social adaptation

including identity formation and emotion regulation. Integrative arts therapy

characterized by its nonverbal

experiential

and culturally inclusive features

holds significant theoretical value in supporting multicultural children. Based on theories from multicultural psychology

developmental psychology

and arts therapy

this study analyzes the mechanisms through which integrative arts therapy influences the cultural and social adaptation of multicultural children from a theoretical perspective. The findings suggest that integrative arts therapy facilitates the integration of cultural identity

alleviates acculturative stress

and supports the development of social interaction skills and a sense of belonging through symbolic expression and experiential interaction. This study provides a culturally sensitive theoretical framework for psychological support for multicultural children.
