Abstract

The construction of new liberal arts is an inevitable trend of higher education

and the visual communication design major has its own professional characteristics

and the visual communication design major should also come out of a characteristic development path in the background of new liberal arts. In this context

this paper analyzes the development status of visual communication design majors and puts forward relevant suggestions on the development path of visual communication design majors' characteristics

hoping to improve the quality of visual communication design majors' talent training

meet the needs of modern education and lay a good foundation for the future development of the majors.
