Boqi Weng, Penghu Liu, Weili Zhang, Ying Huang & Yixiang Wang. (2024). Research on Ideas and Countermeasures for the Prevention and Control of Heavy Metal Pollution in Farmland. Chinese Industry and Technology of Eco-environment, (1), 5-14.
The content of heavy metals in farmland soil
whether excessive or causing pollution
is directly related to the quality and safety of agricultural products
as well as the health of humans and animals. Effectively preventing and controlling heavy metal pollution in farmland soil is undoubtedly a part of the soil quality of farmland and also an important evaluation index. This paper reviews the characteristics of heavy metal pollution in farmland soil
analyzes the importance of establishing an early warning and forecasting system
and the reasons for its delay. It proposes five operational and management links for the construction of the farmland heavy metal pollution early warning and forecasting system
including implementing optimal layout and scientific planning; forming a backbone team and promoting project implementation; improving top-level design and implementing integrated support; relying on scientific and technological innovation and implementing integrated promotion; and completing network construction and implementing resource sharing. At the same time
from the perspective of practical application
the paper studies and proposes methods and main technical areas for the prevention and control of heavy metal pollution countermeasures. Specifically
it includes five aspects: studying and improving the evaluation method and technical system of heavy metals at the agricultural origin; studying and improving the physical prevention and control technology of heavy metal pollution at the agricultural origin; studying and improving the chemical prevention and control technology of heavy metal pollution at the agricultural origin; studying and improving the soil heavy metal content threshold and safety use technology; and studying and improving the biological prevention and control technology of heavy metal pollution at the agricultural origin. The aim is to strive to build and perfect the early warning and forecasting system for heavy metal pollution in farmland soil and to provide references for effective prevention and control.
