Qinghai Lake is an important body of water that maintains the ecological security in the northern Part of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and a natural barrier preventing desert sands in the west spreading east. Due to the unique environmental conditions such as the plateau

and the absence of water retention and diversion projects in the basin
the hydrological process
characteristics and changes in lake water volume and water level of Qinghai Lake basin are well represented in the semi-arid region. Based on the distribution characteristics of measured water quality parameters in July 2020 and data from different periods
this paper discussed the dynamic characteristics and nutritional status of Qinghai Lake
analyzed the sources of nutrients
and discussed the influencing factors and significance of changes in water nutrition and water level.
