Diabetes mellitus is one of the chronic diseases with high morbidity and mortality
and prediabetes mellitus is one of the most important risk factors for diabetes mellitus
and its monitoring and standardized management are crucial for preventing this group of people from turning into diabetes mellitus. To understand the problems and latest research progress in monitoring and management of prediabetes through literature study. We searched for relevant literature on prediabetes in the PUBMED database
summarized and hy the literature on monitoring and management of prediabetes
and elaborated on the current monitoring methods and a series of developing monitoring techniques. Current prediabetes monitoring techniques include physiological measurement indicators
laboratory tests
imaging techniques
questionnaire scores
etc. New techniques include individualized medicine
multidimensional data integration
emerging biomarkers
etc.
and there are technical and promotional limitations.
