The cultivation of core competencies is a fundamental objective in the education of Early Childhood Education majors at vocational colleges. The Outcome-Based Education (OBE) framework offers a guiding philosophy for constructing and fostering these competencies. As an educational approach focused on outcome orientation

OBE emphasizes the development of students' self-directed learning and practical skills. To effectively build core competencies among Early Childhood Education students

it is crucial to integrate the principles of OBE into vocational training. This integration should be systematically approached through comprehensive measures across various dimensions

including foundational employability skills

practical abilities

psychological resilience

and professional identity formation.
