摘要

Abstract

This study explores the current development status of social emotional abilities in infants and young children aged 12-30 months and its relationship with the response styles of caregivers

providing a scientific basis for optimizing the social emotional development of infants and young children. A questionnaire survey was conducted on 130 caregivers of infants and young children aged 12-30 months in Chenzhou City

using the "12-36 month old children's emotional and social assessment scale" and the "caregiver's emotional response assessment scale for infants and young children". The results showed that the total score of infants' social emotional ability was (82.52 ± 13.12)

and the total score of caregivers' emotional response was (25.58 ± 4.95)

both significantly higher than the theoretical mean (P<0.01). Early childhood care experience showed better overall scores in compliance

empathy

and social emotions compared to infants and young children who were not only children (P<0.05); The educational background (with a bachelor's degree being the best) and age (with 24-30 months being the best) of caregivers have a significant positive impact on their social and emotional abilities (P<0.05); The physical contact response

and atmosphere creation of caregivers can positively predict the social emotional ability of infants and young children (β=0.27
